Register your Floatti Product(s)

  • Details and Limitations
  • FLOATTI product(s) become your best travel companion(s). For the protection and security of yourself and your beloved FLOATTI product(s), it is mandatory to register your product(s). In order for the “Warranty Term” to take effect, your product(s) must be registered to your FLOATTI account. Our system allows you, to keep track of warranty expiry dates and details regarding when your product(s) has been and needs to be serviced/repaired/replaced.

    FLOATTI guarantees to the original purchaser,  that the product(s) which you have purchased directly from FLOATTI, or from a FLOATTI authorized dealer to be in effect under our “Warranty Term.” FLOATTI warrants product(s) under our “Limited Warranty” terms for a period of 3 years for electronical parts and 5 years for mechanical parts beginning on the date of retail purchase or delivery date by the original purchaser.

    Should the original purchaser neglect registration of their FLOATTI product(s) within 12 months of the products manufacturing date, then the “Warranty Term” will take effect from its date of manufacture and NOT the date of the product(s) purchase date or date being received from delivery.

  • – Download the “FLOATTI APP”
  • – Create your Floatti membership and join the FLOATTI Community!

Please kindly note, that in order to use FLOATTI Tracking, FLOATTI’s Belonging Trackers and FLOATTI’s Smart Handle, you must download the FLOATTI APP, register an account and your FLOATTI products and connect via pairing by bluetooth to your phone. This requirement may be apply to future FLOATTI products.

Limited​ ​Warranty

Limited​ ​Warranty​ ​covers​ ​defects​ ​and​ ​wear​ ​and​ ​tear​ ​through​ ​normal​ ​usage.

  • FLOATTI​ ​does​ ​not​ ​cover​ ​damage​ ​through​:
  • – Intentional​ ​force.
  • – Damage​ ​arising​ ​from​ ​failure​ ​to​ ​follow​ ​instructions​ ​relating​ ​to​ ​our​ ​‘User​ ​Manual.’
  • – Damage​ ​caused​ ​by​ ​actions​ ​outside​ ​of​ ​its​ ​intended​ ​use.
  • – Damage​ ​caused​ ​by​ ​accident,​ ​neglect,​ ​misuse​ ​and​ ​abrasion.
  • – Damage​ ​caused​ ​by​ ​exposure​ ​to​ ​dangerous​ ​liquids​ ​and​ ​solvents.
  • – Damage​ ​caused​ ​by​ ​unauthorized​ ​3rd​ ​party​ ​modifications.
  • – Damage​ ​caused​ ​by​ ​unauthorized​ ​Floatti​ ​user.
  • – Damage​ ​caused​ ​by​ ​use​ ​with​ ​unapproved​ ​Floatti​ ​products​ ​and​ ​non-Floatti​ ​products.
  • – Damage​ ​caused​ ​by​ ​natural​ ​disasters​ ​such​ ​as​ ​but​ ​not​ ​limited​ ​to​ ​earthquake,​ ​flood​ ​etc.
  • – Damage​ ​caused​ ​by​ ​fire.
  • – Cosmetic​ ​damage​ ​from​ ​usage​ ​such​ ​as​ ​but​ ​not​ ​limited​ ​to​ ​scratches,​ ​dents,​ ​stains​ ​etc.
  • – Diminishing​ ​performance​ ​or​ ​failures​ ​of​ ​batteries​ ​due​ ​to​ ​normal​ ​use.
  • – Bluetooth,​ ​USB​ ​and​ ​any​ ​output​ ​compatibility​ ​and​ ​diminishing​ ​performance.
  • – Damage​ ​caused​ ​by​ ​Airlines​ ​(please​ ​refer​ ​to​ ​“AIRLINE​ ​DAMAGE”).
  • Mechanical​ ​Components​ ​(Limited​ ​5​ ​years​ ​warranty)
  • – Suspension​ ​Wheels
  • – Handbag​ ​Docking​ ​System/Strap
  • – TSA​ ​Premium​ ​Lock
  • – Carry​ ​Handle
  • – Telescopic​ ​Handle
  • Electrical​ ​Components​ ​(Limited​ ​3​ ​Years​ ​Warranty)

Service & Maintenance

  • Repair​ ​&​ ​maintenance
  • Even​ ​FLOATTI​ ​can​ ​develop​ ​a​ ​defect​ ​unexpectedly.​ ​In​ ​such​ ​cases,​ ​we​ ​are​ ​ready​ ​to​ ​provide​ ​professional​ ​care​ ​withreplacement​ ​parts​ ​and​ ​services​ ​at​ ​regional​ ​repair​ ​shops.​ ​Certain​ ​parts​ ​and​ ​damage​ ​can​ ​be​ ​fixed​ ​at​ ​our​ ​regional​ ​RepairShops​ ​(​​).​ ​Certain​ ​parts​ ​can​ ​be​ ​replaced​ ​by​ ​the​ ​FLOATTI​ ​owner​ ​and​ ​should​ ​this​ ​be​ ​the​ ​case,​ ​wewill​ ​ship​ ​the​ ​replacement​ ​part(s)​ ​to​ ​the​ ​FLOATTI​ ​owner.​ ​If​ ​the​ ​damage​ ​is​ ​not​ ​replaceable,​ ​the​ ​product​ ​will​ ​need​ ​to​ ​besent​ ​back​ ​to​ ​our​ ​factory​ ​and​ ​will​ ​be​ ​evaluated​ ​for​ ​a​ ​repair​ ​or​ ​a​ ​new​ ​suitcase​ ​replacement​ ​will​ ​be​ ​offered.
  • Replacement​ ​Parts​ ​Policy
  • – When​ ​a​ ​product​ ​or​ ​part​ ​is​ ​exchanged,​ ​any​ ​replacement​ ​item​ ​becomes​ ​property​ ​of​ ​the​ ​receiver​ ​and​ ​thereplaced​ ​item​ ​becomes​ ​Floatti’s​ ​property.
  • – In​ ​the​ ​case​ ​of​ ​a​ ​refund,​ ​the​ ​product​ ​for​ ​which​ ​the​ ​refund​ ​is​ ​provided​ ​must​ ​first​ ​be​ ​returned​ ​to​ ​FLOATTI​ ​andupon​ ​approval​ ​of​ ​inspection​ ​becomes​ ​FLOATTI’s​ ​property.​ ​A​ ​refund​ ​is​ ​then​ ​processed​ ​within​ ​14​ ​days.​ ​Thetype​ ​of​ ​refund​ ​payment​ ​will​ ​affect​ ​processing​ ​time​ ​by​ ​its​ ​corresponding​ ​parties.
  • – We​ ​will​ ​not​ ​refund​ ​or​ ​exchange​ ​any​ ​product​ ​that​ ​is​ ​damaged​ ​or​ ​missing​ ​parts​ ​for​ ​reasons​ ​not​ ​due​ ​to​ ​our error.
  • The​ ​following​ ​components​ ​can​ ​be​ ​evaluated​ ​at​ ​our​ ​regional​ ​Repair​ ​Shops​ ​for​ ​possible​ ​repairs/replacement​:

  • – TSA​ ​Premium​ ​Lock
  • – Smart​ ​Handle
  • – Built-In​ ​Scale
  • – Detachable​ ​Charger
  • – Suspension​ ​Wheels
  • – Handbag​ ​Docking​ ​System/Strap
  • – Carry​ ​Handle
  • – Belonging​ ​Trackers
  • Airline​ ​Damage
  • Airline​ ​and​ ​unauthorized​ ​3rd​ ​parties​ ​have​ ​their​ ​own​ ​policies​ ​and​ ​insurance​ ​coverage.​ ​Therefore,​ ​damage​ ​caused​ ​bythese​ ​said​ ​parties​ ​are​ ​outside​ ​of​ ​FLOATTI’s​ ​responsibility​ ​and​ ​control.​ ​We​ ​kindly​ ​recommend​ ​you​ ​to​ ​contact​ ​themdirectly​ ​regarding​ ​details​ ​pertaining​ ​to​ ​their​ ​insurance​ ​and​ ​should​ ​in​ ​the​ ​unfortunate​ ​event(s)​ ​cause​ ​damage​ ​to​ ​yourFLOATTI​ ​product(s),​ ​the​ ​owner​ ​of​ ​the​ ​product​ ​will​ ​be​ ​required​ ​to​ ​file​ ​a​ ​claim​ ​with​ ​the​ ​these​ ​mentioned​ ​parties.
  • Defects
  • During​ ​Warranty​ ​Periods,​ ​if​ ​a​ ​covered​ ​defect​ ​arises,​ ​please​ ​follow​ ​the​ ​instructions​ ​for​ ​returning​ ​the​ ​product(s).​ ​Uponevaluation​ ​FLOATTI​ ​will,​ ​(i)​ ​repair​ ​the​ ​product(s)​ ​at​ ​no​ ​charge​ ​using​ ​either​ ​new​ ​or​ ​refurbished​ ​parts,​ ​(ii)​ ​replace​ ​theproduct(s)​ ​with​ ​a​ ​product(s)​ ​that​ ​is​ ​new​ ​or​ ​which​ ​has​ ​been​ ​manufactured​ ​from​ ​new​ ​or​ ​serviceable​ ​used​ ​parts​ ​and​ ​isat​ ​least​ ​functionally​ ​equivalent​ ​to​ ​the​ ​original​ ​product(s),​ ​or​ ​(iii)​ ​refund​ ​the​ ​purchase​ ​price​ ​of​ ​the​ ​product(s).
  • Limitations
  • No​ ​FLOATTI​ ​reseller,​ ​agent,​ ​or​ ​employee​ ​is​ ​authorized​ ​to​ ​make​ ​any​ ​modification,​ ​extension,​ ​or​ ​addition​ ​to​ ​thiswarranty.​ ​If​ ​any​ ​term​ ​is​ ​held​ ​to​ ​be​ ​illegal​ ​or​ ​unenforceable,​ ​the​ ​legality​ ​or​ ​enforceability​ ​of​ ​the​ ​remaining​ ​terms​ ​shallnot​ ​be​ ​affected​ ​or​ ​impaired.
